So many of the most intimate Trump collaborators, from the moronic, vacuous Leavitt, the pandering shit Bondi - and his cabinet of deeply corrupt kleptocrats - to the GOP Congress along with the many others who ignored (or participated in) pedophilia then defended the indefensible will be unemployable and likely never taken seriously again as a professional or person. They clearly haven’t thought out their future even as such a realization may be slowly dawning for some.

Remember when Nikki Haley was the toast of the GOP; the governor of South Carolina who became a national figure taking down the Confederate battle flag. Haley was the GOP’s future. But she then went all in with Trump’s first term....and has now vanished.

But even as the History of more spontaneous citizen ‘purges,’ such as the one in Europe immediately following WW2 is clear, I dearly do not want - nor do I expect - such a violent response once Democrats are back and hopefully with a super majority to include the White House in 2028. I’m disappointed that so many continue to push violent reprisals in comment strings and posts.

As Susan Rice said during a podcast:

“if these corporations think that the Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to, you know, play by the old rules and say, ‘Oh, never mind, we’ll forgive you for all the people you fired, all the policies and principles you’ve violated, all, you know, the laws you’ve skirted,’ I think they’ve got another thing coming.”

I agree with Rice and think some of these persons and corporations are starting to recognize that they have fucked themselves big time by going so all in with everything Trump. I expect some to attempt repentance. Others will not go down easily in that so many are so deep into (or part of) Trump muck, they are less sure how to or even if they can extricate themselves.

Here, I offer a comparison to Putin in Ukraine. It is no coincidence that Trump has so closely allied himself with Putin who is guilty of Crimes Against Humanity in Syria, Georgia and, now, Ukraine. The reality is that Putin long ago lost his criminal unprovoked imperial war on Ukraine. But he can no longer stop until he is stopped.

Putin sold his war so unconditionally to Russians while using a generation of young Russian men as his personal cannon fodder, any attempt to simply back out would largely be his undoing. Ending up dangling from a lamp post as did Mussolini no doubt haunts Putin daily.

Many modern American Trump collaborators could free themselves but for abject cowardice in the face of the deeply delusional, dementia addled, hate riven, racist and violent criminal felon, adjudicated sex offender and Pedo-in-Chief. Others see themselves in and through Trump to very much include such profanely rich techbros as Peter Theil and Musk.

Who has taken note of Trump’s latest whacked AI of him in his red tie skating in the gold medal game with the victorious US hockey team? The AI generated picture took out the diaper lump in his pants. Or how about the AI generated hospital ship Trump says he now wants to send to help sick Greenlanders? Apparently nobody has informed Trump that, unlike Americans, Greenland and Denmark have free, universal health care. Denmark should consider a ship with mental health specialists into DC. Trump is unwell.

As I believe Liz Cheney so correctly observed, the ‘honor’ of Trump collaborators and accomplices, with an emphasis on a spineless GOP Congress, has been lost never to be recovered even though Trump is time limited by medical need or term limits. These collaborators have collectively dived head first into America’s Political Hell just as those who fully collaborated with Hitler’s WW2 Europe were left in their own political hellscape.

The post WW2 Nazi purge was markedly violent across Europe. But be very clear that I do not wish death or physical injury on any primary players ranging from Trump to the Kapo Stephen Miller, Bondi and others. What I do want are new Nuremberg like trials and for these people to lose their collected wealth then sentenced to long jail terms where found guilty.

So many of these individuals, to include intensely violent ICE agents, should read their History to learn that the ‘I was following orders’ defense failed spectacularly at the original Nuremberg Trials. I want to see the sad irony of the Jewish Stephen Miller tried for war crimes. The rest will find their place in historical ignominy and oblivion.

But several major problems will remain.

That is, there is a large number of Americans who are nothing but their ‘MAGA’ platform, identity and new found ability to be a violently racist, antisemitic, terroristic, anti-LGBTQ and anti-constitutional out in the open. They are repeatedly interviewed by major networks and on social media to push their violent stupid while being given massive credibility for all the wrong reasons

Think about the huge cottage industry of podcasters whose wealth and power is Trump ‘MAGA’ white supremacy and christian nationalism. Consider the tradwife social media influencers making six figure plus salaries to tell women to give up their lives, jobs and careers in order to ‘submit’ to their husbands while raising baby after baby. The brazen hypocrisy is finally at least being noticed

I don’t expect these people to give up their perceived political power, cultural supremacy or wealth easily. I don’t expect the insanity of ‘white culture,’ the great replacement theory and intense surge of white supremacy and antisemitism pushed by Trump and Project 2025 to go quietly into the night.

White Supremacy is the framework on which America was built. It became a more explicit and conscious focus surging in the mid-17th century several decades after Africans started to be forcibly brought to the new America as human slaves.

When poor whites; when white indentured servants at that time in our History started to openly recognize and resent that their lives were largely as miserable as Black human slaves, the then political and religious leaders needed to give these oppressed white citizens a premise for their own supposed superiority.

Such demands supercharged the operational model of White Supremacy in a way - and for similar reasons - it has been now pushed by Trump and his handlers. ‘DEI’ is nothing but an extension by Trump of the brutal white supremacy constructed some 400 years ago.

This white supremacy peaked in the mid-19th century as the old South’s aristocracy, the main owners of Black human slaves, seceded from the United States towards a goal of creating the globe’s first ‘pure’ ethnostate. And they were prepared to kill as many of their poor white citizens, most of whom did not own human slaves, as was needed towards that end.

Both James Longstreet and Stonewall Jackson were far better battlefield tacticians than Lee. Longstreet, in fact, tried to talk Lee out of Pickett’s Charge. But Lee pushed on and the rest, as they say, is American History. (More on this in a later substack)

Poor white lives were as expendable then as those of Black human slaves. Poor/lower middle class white citizens lives are just as expendable now under the Trump regime who is actively practicing a form of economic eugenics guided by Project 2025. But then, as now, poor/lower middle class hard working white citizens failed to see through this murderous scam.

Demeaning and dismissing our most accomplished Black and women military officers and law enforcement specialists while attacking academics and others telling universities and private businesses who they can - and can’t - hire solely on skin color and/or gender creates a similarly false sense of superiority. This happens while the life conditions of many of those now pushing ‘white culture’ and supremacy are uniquely poor and will not improve since the current government doesn’t give a good damn about them. And unlike citizens of Greenland and Denmark, Americans do not have universal health care and are at risk of bankruptcy for even a relatively minor medical crisis.

Retribution or, more appropriately, full accountability is coming as Rice has so eloquently stated. But it won’t allow itself to be paraded through the streets as happened following our victory of WW2...and that should not be a goal or intent for even a moment. We need to be - we must be - better than this.

The extreme violence unleashed by Trump on America, Americans and immigrants to America as a distraction ranging from the Epstein Files to helping implement Project 2025 must not be met with revenge violence. But full social, personal and political accountability, as identified by Rice, is coming. And it can’t happen soon enough
